Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is a therapy that helps you get to know the different parts of yourself—especially the ones that protect you and the ones that hold pain—so those parts can soften, heal, and work together, with the guidance of your true self.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It helps you identify unhelpful thinking patterns, develop more balanced perspectives, and build practical coping strategies—so you can reduce distress, respond differently to challenges, and feel more in control of your day-to-day life.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy explores the unconscious emotional patterns and early relational experiences that still shape how you feel, think, and relate to the others and the word around you. By making these patterns conscious and understood, you gain more freedom, self-awareness, and choice in the present.

  • I offer virtual therapy at this time, which means we will meet through a video platform. I plan to offer in person sessions in the next year.

  • No, I do not prescribe medications. As an LICSW I provide individual talk therapy only. If medication could be supportive for you, I’m happy to support you with finding a provider such as a psychiatrist, or psychiatric nurse practitioner as part of your treatment.

  • In our first session, I’ll take time to get to know you and your story — what’s bringing you to therapy now and what you’re hoping to gain from it. I’ll also share a bit about how I work and what you can expect from the therapy process.

Together, we’ll discuss your goals, address any questions or concerns you may have, and begin to identify what feels most supportive moving forward. There’s no pressure to share everything right away — this first meeting is simply a starting point. If therapy feels overwhelming, that’s completely okay—I aim to meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels comfortable, collaborative, and supportive.
